there's never been a better time to start a podcast with the
global restrictions and lockdowns that came with the Covid 19 pandemic.
Podcasting didn't just grow, but it's audiences diversified.
So if you've been sitting on an excellent idea but
just haven't been quite sure on how to get started,
keep watching this video.
The first thing you need to do is starting a video podcast or just a podcast.
On its own is making sure that your audio video is right.
Structure content format are all important factors,
but nothing ruins a great storey like bad audio.
And it can actually be the sole reason why your listeners and never return.
And speaking of audio, having a good space record is actually key to having that.
So if you're in a large open space with reflective surfaces and just hard furniture,
the audio isn't gonna sound quite right, and there might be a lot of echo,
so make sure you fill up your space with carpets,
furniture and whatever soft things that you can find to kind of bring that down.
The next thing you need to do is get the gear that's
right for you and this will depend on your level of experience,
your budget and your podcasting format.
Okay, so if you're doing a video podcast, which I hope you are doing,
you'll actually need a microphone. You'll need lights.
You'll need a camera these days.
You can actually get equipment without breaking the bank cheque out.
Our full blog posts are what gear to get,
how to set it up and have to record and edit your video podcast in detail.
I look forward to seeing it.
